Copper, brass, gilding metal and Fenland bog oak
Dimensions: 10 x 6.5 x 7.5 cm approx

Recently I visited my parents and asked them to take me to where my maternal great grandparents used to live. Despite living in the area until I was 19, I had never visited the site and I wasn’t even sure where the road was. Once called Humphrey’s Drove after my great grandparents, even the name has been changed to Green Drove (of which there are many) and the grass track is a footpath. The house no longer exists but the trees that were at the front of it do, marking the spot. Once at the site, I looked for bricks or some evidence of a building but found none.
