Buried copper and white oak
Dimensions: 13 x 14.5 x 13 cm approx
Originally made for the first Bayfield Hall Sculpture Trail in 2022, this piece was part of a series of 5 shells, made after researching the history of Bayfield Hall and in particular Sir Alfred Jodrell, who not only owned the estate and house but also required a permanent home for his extensive shell collection. I visited Glandford Shell Museum many times as a child and still love it now.
